Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how Sparrow Strength (“Sparrow Strength,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses personal information when you visit sparrowstrength.co (the “Site”) or join our early-access list. By using the Site or submitting your information, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Scope

This Policy applies to personal information collected through the Site. It does not apply to information collected through any third-party website or service that may be linked from the Site, each of which is governed by its own privacy policy.

2. Information We Collect

Information you provide

When you join the early-access list, we collect the email address you submit. You may also choose to provide optional qualifying information, including the type of facility you are outfitting, the name of your company or gym, a telephone number, the number of units you are considering, your purchase timeline, and the product features of most interest to you. This optional information is not required to join the list, and you may join using your email address alone.

If you contact us directly by email, we receive the contents of that message and any information you choose to include in it.

Information collected automatically

When you submit the early-access form, we record the referring web address and any marketing campaign parameters (such as UTM tags) present in the link through which you reached the Site. Our hosting provider also maintains standard server logs, which may include IP addresses, browser type, and request timestamps, and which are retained for a limited period as part of normal service operation and security monitoring.

We also collect aggregate usage statistics, such as page views and referring websites, as described in Section 6. If you reach the Site from an advertisement, we record the advertising click identifier attached to that link so we can tell which advertisement brought you here.

Information we do not collect

We do not request or store names or mailing addresses through the Site. The Site does not process payments, and we do not collect or have access to payment card information.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the personal information described above to:

• send you communications about Model One, including preorder availability, pricing, and product updates;
• respond to inquiries you send to us;
• contact you by telephone or text message about your early-access enquiry, if you chose to give us a number;
• understand which marketing channels bring visitors to the Site and improve our outreach accordingly;
• maintain the security and proper functioning of the Site and prevent fraud or abuse; and
• comply with applicable legal obligations.

4. Legal Bases for Processing

Where the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or comparable law applies, we process personal information on the basis of your consent (which you may withdraw at any time), our legitimate interests in operating and promoting our business, and compliance with legal obligations.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We share it only with third-party providers that process personal information on our behalf and are contractually limited to that purpose: Airtable (list storage), Resend (email delivery), Vercel (website hosting and analytics), and Meta Platforms (advertising measurement, described in Section 6).

6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand how the Site is used in aggregate — for example, how many people visit, which pages they view, and which websites refer them. This service does not set cookies, does not identify you personally, and does not track your activity across other websites.

We also use the Meta pixel, an advertising measurement tool provided by Meta Platforms. It sets cookies in your browser and reports to Meta when you visit the Site and when you join the early-access list, so that we can measure which advertisements lead to sign-ups and reach comparable audiences. Meta may combine this with information it already holds about you and may recognise you across other websites and services that use its tools.

You can limit this. Meta’s own advertising controls are available in your Facebook or Instagram account settings, and most browsers allow you to block third-party cookies. Blocking them does not affect your ability to use the Site or join the list.

Your browser may also store limited data necessary for the Site to function.

7. Data Retention

We retain the personal information you submit for as long as necessary to provide the communications you requested, until you unsubscribe or request deletion, or until the early-access program concludes, whichever occurs first. We may retain limited records where necessary to comply with legal obligations or resolve disputes.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Unsubscribing. Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link. You may also request removal by emailing us at the address in Section 12.

Access, correction, and deletion. Subject to applicable law, you may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask that it be corrected, or request that it be deleted. Depending on your location, you may have additional rights, including the rights to restrict or object to processing and to data portability under the GDPR, and the rights to know, delete, correct, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act. As stated in Section 5, we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under California law.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the address in Section 12. We will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law and will not discriminate against you for exercising them.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. International Transfers

We operate in the United States, and our service providers may process and store personal information in the United States or other countries. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in a country whose data protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised, and material changes will be communicated to individuals on our early-access list.
